Some of the words above just show what people really think of Total Energies. Horrible, useless, appalling and terrible were just a quick selection of some of the ways Total Energies’ customer service was described.
Clearly, they are not meeting the expectations that customers have which will lead to more leaving the company for another supplier. This poor service was from:
- Customers have to make numerous phone calls with the same information.
- Having to wait long periods of time to speak to a representative.
- Not listening or taking note of previous calls and web chats.
- Taking a long time to get a follow up response.
The list could go on. Some have stated they have no issues with the call handlers, but as a whole, the company haven’t delivered anywhere and needs the standard of service they expect from a big brand like Total Energies.
The Bad – 3-Star Reviews
When looking at the bad, one word stood out. Average. Whether it was communication, customer service or dealing with accounts, many reviews stated that Total Energies performed averagely. with 2 stars for customer service said one review.

There also seemed to be an issue with delays. One customer even waited 6 months to resolve an issue after no action was taken, even once a complaint was raised.
Some had stated they’d had decent service until the issues began to arise. In particular, there was one review left where someone was on the phone for an hour while the customer service team looked into the issue, was told it needed further investigation and to wait for a callback. They’re still waiting weeks later!
The Good – 5 – Star Reviews
With 63% of the more than 1,600 reviews being scored as excellent, there were plenty of positives for Total Energies. The overriding word was ‘helpful’ with many agents getting a fantastic, glowing review.

The company seem to have some amazing staff working for them who can work fast and politely to solve queries. Maybe where they go wrong is when dealing with complaints, something for them to look into.
There is definitely a difference between dealing with queries and issues. However, hats off to Total Energies as they seem to have the team working quickly and efficiently. This seems to be a refreshing change, so hopefully, the team can expand and work towards getting rid of all those poor reviews.
